About Ed
My name is Dr Ed Moody, I recently obtained my PhD from the University of Otago where I have studied, experimented, researched, and taught over the past 8 years.
I am originally from Auckland and have now returned for the summer.
I love to teach and am eager to help students learn math and science in an easy and enjoyable manner.
I am off to Monash University to lecture next year and want to keep my brain sharp and further develop my teaching skills!

I like to take my own approach to tutoring and understanding different topics - identifying weaknesses or gaps in student’s knowledge, identifying which ways you learn best (learning type), and tailoring the tutoring experience to help you understand new ideas, practice them, and put them into action by solving problems both together and independently.
Everyone learns different, and it’s my goal to find out how you onboard information best!
