About Amanda
I spent many years in a classroom with a variety of ages and a variety of techniques to engage and motivate each student to learn what material and lessons they needed to learn. Through afterschool homework help and individualized tutoring lessons, I have found that every student is different and every learning style is unique but once the correct learning environment is established and the proper techniques are used, then that is when success happens and skills are mastered! I enjoy getting to know my students and use that information to create specialized learning plans that will help them learn in a way that they understand. I like for lessons to be interactive and interesting! Each child has the ability to thrive and succeed when given the right amount of individualized attention and focus along with sufficient practice and adaptation to their specific needs.
