About Amy
My name is Amy Harris, for years I have been tutoring cousins and friends in the art of acting. I have always enjoyed the art and I will continue to do so. I started at the young age of 7 and I even wrote a few of my own pieces. I used acting as a means of escape, to escape reality when things got tough and express myself not as Amy Harris but as the character of my choice. Sometimes all we need is a push in the right direction to be truly great and successful in the art that we all know and love. I would truly love to be that push.

When you’re on the stage it’s my belief that you turn into another person. You put yourself in their shoes. My lessons will be the art of just that. I will teach you to cry and laugh as that person. While on the stage you are a whole new person. When we choose a character we may have lessons where you are on the hot seat, not as yourself but as your character. I will also be with you throughout applications and auditions when we both agree that you are ready. I hope to see you soon
