About Jennifer
Hi! My name is Jen, I have been teaching and tutoring since 2013 and love it! I am a National Board Certified math teacher with a M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction in Secondary Mathematics. I believe that all students are capable of learning if they are met with patience, understanding, and expertise to determine which methods work best for them. I love finding what works for every student and seeing them be successful.

I approach tutoring and teaching from the angle of individualized instruction that meets the needs of each learner. I find methods that are successful for each student and adjust my instruction to meet students where they are. I have had success teaching students in elementary, middle and high school in mathematics. Most of my experience is at the high school level from pre-algebra to Calculus but I enjoy working with younger learners as well!
