About Efren
In my 30 plus years as a high school math teacher I have developed a lot of patience and empathy for students that struggle with math phobia. One of the things that motivated me to pursue a career in math was the fact that as a high school student I was intimidated by math so this pushed me to invest more time studying the subject and as a result I ended up loving it.

My lessons are geared to develop understanding of the topics that we are discussing. I like to make students feel at ease with the subject. I am aware that a lot of people struggle with math phobia and this issue alone will cause blockage in the learning of math so I try to make students feel at ease during my lessons.
