About Bhumika
I am passionate about learning and sports. I believe how we learn and use our skills impacts how we retain knowledge. Oftentimes a subject like mathematics is simply presented as a set of rules and formulas that are to be rote-learned and parroted in exams, without looking at why a formula works, or why something is the way it is. Kids are naturally curious, and as an educator, I believe my duty is to encourage that curiosity, not dampen it with rules and explanations.

I believe learning should be engaging and fun. When students understand something properly they are bound to remember it and apply it.
My teaching methods include:
- Understanding real life applications of the topic
- Using visual cues to learn more intuitively
- Integrating fun and excitement in learning
- Encouraging students to create their own problem questions so they understand concepts better
- Testing for comprehension
My students are in the age brackets 3 to 15.
