About Julia
I have a bachelor's in Early Childhood Education so I understand how important certain skills are for a students overall development. I take teaching and learning very seriously because I want to make a difference in each and every student's overall development and success. I also want to make learning fun and make students feel comfortable and confident when it comes to education.

I am an advocate for teaching that involves different creative aspects to help the student to be more engaged.
A typical lesson plan would be to first talk about and review the main goal the student and I would like to accomplish. We would go over any questions/concerns the student and or parent has as well. Then I would have an engaging activity that the student and I will work on as well as any materials given to the student from school already.
I think what sets me apart as a tutor is I do not look at education as something that only has one right way. Learning should not trap you in a box of right and wrong. Learning should be fluid and flexible to each students needs.
I mainly focus on grades K-8th English. I can help with projects, reading, essay writing, etc!
