About Tommy
Since I have previously been inspired by those around me, I look to do the same by inspiring and teaching those who are in a position that I was previously in. I have great enthusiasm for both the subjects of Mathematics and Computer Science and hope to encourage this through my tutoring in order for my students to not only reflect this enthusiasm but to also thrive through this. I am studying Mathematics at University and have experience with using this in and around financial services through continuous work experience and hope to use this to provide students with a well rounded understanding of their subjects.

Being a recent A-Level student at John Hampden Grammar School (sitting my exams in 2023) I understand the high expectations that need to be met from a students point of view enabling me to be able to use this to greatly benefit my students. I have previous experience tutoring previous class mates and other students within my school through different leadership roles such as being a tutor for younger years to aid with their learning at a support club offered at my previous school. As well as this I also helped to lead a support group for students who were struggling without a computer science teacher at another school.
