About Astela
I am an A-level student currently studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have experience of tutoring children who were in year 9, 10 and 11 and have helped them make great progress and escalated their grades. My teaching involves a mix between learning content visually and methodically as well as exam practice to cover content efficiently. Being a relatively young student allows me to connect with children and make them feel comfortable when learning and they enjoy their lessons.

I do one to one sessions with aspiring students and explain concepts to a greater depth for students to understand. I use a variety of methods suited for each student. I make lessons fun and enjoyable but knowledgeable and make every second count. My method of teaching composes of explaining a concept to the student and then testing them to see if they understood. I make sure to go through questions step by step and visualising it for better understanding. I spend an 1hr per lesson and provide detailed PowerPoints made by myself. I achieved a grade 8 for maths GCSE and Chemistry and biology and my lessons are curated for GCSE students.
