About Nico
I am a senior at Harvard College studying Chemical and Physical Biology, as well as Neuroscience. I am also a huge fan of jazz music, and a total political junkie. I am very passionate about tutoring because helping students succeed is one of the best uses to the skills and knowledge I have learned over the years in education. I have had various formal and informal tutoring experiences in the past, and am confident that I can provide a tailored, effective approach to help you succeed!

Hello!
My teaching philosophy is based around tailoring my tutoring approach in a way that complements your learning style! Tutoring is not a one-size-fits-all, and in my many years of tutoring I have refined my methods to help students succeed no matter what their background or learning style is.
Typically, I will break up a lesson into a short conceptual overview (we go over a new topic and I explain it in depth) and then a practice segment, where you can implement the new topic. Finally, I always leave time for questions and conversation, as this is where most of the deeper understanding emerges.
I tutor students of all age groups, ranging from K-12 and college subjects such as organic chemistry, biology, music, calculus, and linear algebra.
My approach has yielded excellent results for students over the years, and I promise to deliver my best effort in helping you reach your personal and academic goals!
