About Laertis
I have been playing guitar, writing songs, performing live and as a solo act for 10 years. I also play and record vocals, bongos and bass guitar. Graduated from a 3 year music degree at ICMP where I studied music performance with guitar as the major instrument as well as composing for films & ensembles. I really enjoy composing and arranging I have been teaching since 2015 starting in my hometown Athens, Greece and the past 9 years in London and online around the world. I love sharing my knowledge and I am always learning new skills!

I offer lessons to all levels of musician, from beginner, intermediate or advanced on acoustic or electric guitar. My teaching methodology varies for each student. As a teacher I want to understand your wants, and then help you find your unique voice on the instrument. I appreciate people learn in many different ways. Depending on your wants and needs, I can adapt my teaching style to include as much or as little theory as you wish to learn. I believe as a student of music myself the key to an enjoyable and efficient development is to always combine theory with practical application. Otherwise theory is at risk of just being 'information' which doesn't translate to expression on the instrument. I can teach many different styles of guitar including: Jazz Latin Rock Pop Blues Folk I also offer lessons to students studying: Music Theory Guitar Grades Sight Reading for beginners Music Production Basics Bass Guitar basics Piano basics

Perfect! Laertis is an excellent guitar teacher, he's clear, knowledgeable, and highly skilled. Perfect! Recently started lessons with Laertis and really enjoyed them so far. He's really detailed and takes time to work out what your goals are then tailors the sessions accordingly so they are as valuable as possible. A super friendly guy and would highly recommend lessons if you are looking for any ability range.

Your style of teaching means that i can easily transfer my guitar learning to my own music - and the lessons feel amazing in the way that they are tailored and built around my own music! I love that at the end of the lessons, we usually record some chords/melodies on the guitar based on what we learnt that day!!!
