About Taylor
Do you dream of playing your favorite songs at a party or with friends? With 13 years of gigging experience in Nashville and Austin, I bring real-world performance experience into every lesson while keeping my approach relaxed and practical.
My self-taught background allows me to focus on the skills that matter most, including strumming patterns, songwriting, rhythm guitar, sheet music, electric guitar technique, ear training, and tuning and maintenance. Lessons are tailored to your current level and musical goals.
I split my time between DC and performing on stages, giving me a strong connection to both teaching and live music. Whether you want to play for fun, write your own songs, or become a more confident guitarist, I’d love to help you reach your musical goals.

Focusing on song requests turned into simplified arrangements makes the guitar feel accessible. Imagine the sound of your first favorite riff ringing out in your living room.
8 minutes of focused warmups start us off. My self-taught background ensures we avoid unnecessary theory hurdles.
I keep things practical. Rhythm is king. I love seeing the progress. It is a blast to play music together.
