I have had guitar lessons with Bryan over the course of a few years and he has really helped me improve as a player. He is highly knowledgeable on a range of genres and takes a patient approach tailored to your individual goals. Would highly recommend!

I’ve known Bryan for over 10 years, even before he became the accomplished guitar instructor he is today. When I first started learning guitar, Bryan shared his knowledge with me and patiently taught me the basics. Although he didn’t have much formal teaching experience at the time, his natural patience and clear guidance were evident from the start. Bryan was particularly good at spotting my mistakes early on and offering practical advice that helped me improve quickly.

Due to study commitments, I wasn’t able to continue lessons with him. It wasn’t until recently that I decided to resume my guitar lessons with Bryan. To my surprise, his teaching skills had developed significantly in both depth and breadth. Not only has he refined the skills I noticed early on, but he has also possessed new qualities such as active listening, adaptability, organisation etc.

It’s been wonderful to see how far he’s come as a professional instructor. I have no doubt that his current students benefit immensely from his skill, patience, and supportive teaching style. I highly recommend Bryan to anyone looking to learn guitar, whether you’re a complete beginner or someone looking to enhance your existing skills.

When I first started guitar it was quite overwhelming, there was so much to learn and it was difficult to know which direction to go in. Bryan taught me a method for learning songs on guitar that massively improved my abilities, confidence and overall musicality. If I struggled with a concept, he was adept at communicating it in simpler terms. He’s also a great guy and very easy to get along with, I always looked forward to our lessons.

Bryan was an excellent colleague at MusicLab in Leeds. He is really friendly, easygoing and has a calm and patient demeanor. He is conscientious and punctual. He regularly plays around Leeds, and I understand that he's a very skilled guitar player, well versed in different musical styles.
