About Taani
I hold a B.Mus in Contemporary Guitar Performance and have 10 years of experience teaching guitar to students of all ages and skill levels. My teaching philosophy combines technical rigor, expressive coaching, and performance guidance to cultivate well-rounded, confident musicians. Lessons are customized to each student’s goals, learning style, and musical interests. I emphasize clarity, patience, and interactive engagement. Lessons include technique exercises, chord work, improvisation, repertoire study, and performance coaching. I encourage students to explore expression, develop personal style, and gain confidence performing both in practice and on stage. Outside of teaching, I perform regularly, study diverse repertoire, and experiment with innovative techniques to enhance my instruction. Watching students grow in skill, musicality, and confidence is deeply rewarding. I am dedicated to nurturing guitarists who are expressive, technically proficient, and motivated to continue exploring music.

My guitar lessons emphasize developing strong technique, musicality, and creative expression. I cover topics such as chord progressions, scales, soloing, fingerstyle, improvisation, tone shaping, and rhythm training. Lessons are structured to balance technical exercises, repertoire practice, and creative exploration, ensuring learners gain both skill and expressive freedom. I foster a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to experiment musically, ask questions, and develop confidence while exploring their unique musical voice.
Beginners focus on basic chords, finger positioning, strumming patterns, simple songs, and timing fundamentals to establish a solid foundation. Intermediate learners expand technique, scale work, improvisation, sight-reading, and more challenging repertoire. Advanced students refine advanced techniques, solo interpretation, phrasing, performance preparation, and musical expression. Each lesson integrates hands-on practice, problem-solving guidance, and reflective feedback to maximize growth.
Guitar lessons also nurture patience, discipline, musical creativity, and self-confidence. Students develop the ability to express emotion through music, perform with assurance, and creatively interpret repertoire.
