About Athena
My journey with the guitar began at age ten, when I discovered how a single chord could transform a quiet room into something alive. Since then, I’ve spent over a decade performing, recording, and teaching — constantly learning how to express emotion through sound. My passion lies in helping others find that same connection and sense of freedom through their instrument. I approach each lesson with patience and purpose. Whether teaching a child their first chord or an adult refining performance technique, I adapt to each student’s pace and personality. My classes are open spaces for creativity, exploration, and self-discovery, where every student’s musical story is valued and nurtured. When not teaching, I compose original pieces, collaborate with other musicians, and continue studying the craft of teaching. For me, music education is not just about playing well — it’s about empowering people to express who they truly are through the universal language of sound.
