About Sienna
My journey with the guitar began over nine years ago, inspired by the instrument’s ability to express emotion and tell stories. What started as a personal passion evolved into a lifelong dedication to music education and performance. Over the years, I’ve guided students of all ages and skill levels, helping them discover their voice through music and develop technical mastery. Teaching guitar allows me to share not only skills but also the joy of creative discovery and personal growth that music offers. I approach teaching with patience, adaptability, and a focus on individual learning styles. My lessons combine structured exercises with creative exploration, encouraging students to experiment and express themselves. Mistakes are treated as stepping stones toward mastery, and every student is guided with encouragement and clear direction. Whether preparing for performances or learning for enjoyment, I tailor lessons to each learner’s goals and pace. Outside of teaching, I compose, perform, and collaborate with musicians from diverse genres. This ongoing creative engagement informs my teaching and keeps lessons vibrant and relevant. My goal is to help every student find their own connection to music and develop confidence, skill, and artistry that last a lifetime.

Guitar lessons are designed to help students develop both technical control and expressive freedom. Each lesson blends theory, technique, and creativity in a supportive and motivating environment that encourages exploration. Students learn to connect emotionally with their instrument while mastering essential skills such as chord progressions, scales, rhythm, and picking patterns. Lessons are structured around each student’s goals, ensuring progress whether the aim is performance, songwriting, or personal enjoyment.
Beginners focus on proper hand positioning, rhythm development, and foundational chords. Intermediate players expand into improvisation, music theory, and stylistic diversity, exploring rock, blues, classical, or acoustic fingerstyle techniques. Advanced learners refine phrasing, tone control, and composition, developing their own artistic identity. Every stage includes exercises, practice guidance, and constructive feedback, ensuring continuous improvement and enjoyment.
Beyond technical skill, students develop discipline, confidence, and creativity. Guitar lessons nurture self-expression, emotional awareness, and lifelong musicianship, enabling learners to connect deeply with music while developing artistry that extends far beyond the classroom.
