About Andrea
I have always had a passion for history (Greek, Roman, Medieval, Modern and Contemporary), which I was able to cultivate by attending the University after high school. At the same time I am interested in Geography, Geopolitics, Mythology, Epic literature and general culture.
Another great passion of mine is foreign languages. After two years of studying the French language, I took English lessons and took the Cambridge CAE level C1-Advanced exam with the highest grade (level C2 native speaker in Speaking and Reading and Use of English). Studying a language allows you to relate to another culture and opens the doors to a deeper knowledge of the world.
I like to relate to youngsters and four years as an entertainer in different summer camps during the holidays gave me the opportunity to get in direct contact with them. During my time as an entertainer I was able to put my aspiration to teaching into practice by assisting children and teenagers in studying and carrying out their homework. My goal is to translate this passion into concrete help and support to anyone who needs it, paying attention to everyone's needs and focusing on achieving the goals set for each lesson. I am very motivated and I dedicate all my attention to the students and the work to be done.

I have been cultivating the passion for teaching for some time and through direct contact (four years of experience as an animator at summer camps) I have developed the skills to relate to children and teenagers. I am interested in humanities and languages, especially English for which I have obtained the Cambridge CAE C1-Advanced level certification.
I appeal to students of all ages, from primary school to high school (6-19 years) and to adults. Depending on the subject and the skills and needs of the student, the teaching methods and the application of the study methodologies may vary, but always adapting to the needs of the individual. Compared to excessive severity, I prefer kindness and calm, to establish an environment of mutual trust and serenity while maintaining the necessary concentration.
I also believe it's important to set goals that make individual study more methodical, gradually leading the student to self-manage, while at the same time considering the specific requests of the teachers.
