About Tate
I have been an instructor for over 4 years now. I have taught at the high school and collegiate level. At the high school level, I have taught Human Anatomy and Physiology, Dual Credit Biology, and Botany. I am currently teaching Biology I for science majors and Biology II for non science majors at the collegiate level. I believe that I am a very approachable instructor and I truly want people to learn everything that I have in my academic career.

I believe in active learning when possible but sometimes in biology there needs to be a collaboration learning opportunity. My goal is to facilitate information but allow the student to learn through discussion and participation. Instruction is needed for any subject but I like to hear the perspectives of the student to offer a complete understanding of the material.
