About Thomas
My name’s Tom (Thomas when I get into trouble) and since I was little I’ve loved English. It was my favourite subject at school. Sometimes I would hide in the corner and read a novel during a maths lesson. Sometimes I got away with it!
I graduated from Birmingham City University in 2018 with a 2:1 BA Honours degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. After graduation I tried training as a teacher but soon realised that large classroom based learning wasn’t for me.
However, I love helping people realise their potential and passing on knowledge.

My approach to teaching and learning is that it’s done at your own pace. I am incredibly patient and understanding, and I encourage students to ask as many questions as possible and be inquisitive about the subject they are learning.
