About Edith
I believe strongly in positive reinforcement, a willingness to assist; because, all human beings are potential scholars who embody innate proclivities. Tutoring involves providing the necessary forms of stimulation each individual requires to germinate his or her unique talents. People are more complex than they appear. Tutoring helps them discover their internal layers. Some people might take longer than others to produce. Still, that acts as part of the ongoing challenge to elicit the best from them as we interact. Some subjects take more time and practice to master; however, work should be exciting, not daunting.

I love helping students with basic Arithmetic, Phonemic awareness, external Science, and both written and spoken English. I feel that these subjects comprise a core part of Education and are an extremely important part of the way the current world operates. Helping people of all ages develop not only stimulates growth, but learning is an ongoing part of the human experience. Human beings are always absorbing new information, and that's vital in today's Information Age.
Learning also describes a partnership between sender and recipient; thus, tutoring techniques utilize: mutual participation, feedback from both parties, and constant practice to facilitate subject area mastery for students at every level.
