About Tom
Hi I’m Tom!
I graduated high school in 2020 and have completed 3 years of an Engineering degree at Monash Uni.
I’m planning to start a high school teaching degree in 2025, because I loved school and the teachers that had a passion for helping us students learn.
I’m currently taking a gap year to travel around Australia and I want to tutor maths and physics as I go! I think it’ll be a great opportunity for me to focus on doing more tutoring and get more experience teaching. And a great opportunity for you to learn in a comfortable and fun environment.
If you are curious about my scores. I received an ATAR of 96 and scored in the 40s for further, methods, and specialist maths, and physics.

I take an intuitive and flexible approach to tutoring. One that encourages us to work together instead of being purely student or tutor led, which can often seem intimidating and can be harder to stay on the same page.
I find this way of tutoring leads me and my students to find the best ways of learning and solidifying content for the both of us, and as we continue to work together we get better at figuring out what works and have more fun with the lessons.
This flexibility allows for different learning styles and better flow, and something more personal and fun than a classroom.
