About Adela Jingyi
I graduated from the University of Rochester with a Bachelor of Science degree in molecular genetics. By being a TA at the university, I discovered my interest in being a peer tutor by inspiring others to love biology as much as I do. Any questions from students inspire me to dig deeper into the topic and discover something new. Hope we can grow together and learn about biology!

I like to use analogies and examples to help students understand complicated biology concepts. A typical lesson plan would be a brief summary at the beginning of the class about the topic for the class, and then dive into details and answer questions from students. I am a friendly peer tutor and I am passionate about my major--biology. I love questions from students because those questions inspire me to learn more about the topic. High school and college level lessons will be my focus since biology courses typically starts in high school.
