About Emma
Hi, my name is Emma, I’m 22 and have years of tutoring experience. I started out tutoring younger students when I was in secondary school in various subjects including maths. Maths is my favourite subject to teach as I feel I can really make a difference in creating better understanding of the subject. I’m currently taking a post-uni gap year and therefore have a lot of time to dedicate to tutoring.

In my lessons I will help students complete maths exercises suitable to their level. I always say maths is something you have to learn by doing. I will teach all the necessary tips and tricks to solve the problems at hand while fostering a deeper understanding of the logic behind it. This will help students not only excel at the subject at hand, but apply this understanding to future learning as well. Students will learn better problem-solving skills by being guided towards the correct solution instead of just being told what to do.
