About Giulia
I started studying Greek and Latin in first grade and I immediately got passionate: when I translated I was serene and above all I was never bored. My passion for these subjects, however, owes a lot to the professors I met both at school and at university: serious, kind and curious people.
Going to class has always been a good time for me and it saddens me to realize that not everyone is like that. School can be a stressful and stifling environment and often the difficulty of communicating and creating authentic relationships is the real obstacle to learning.
For this reason, I have been dedicating myself to private lessons for 8 years now, trying to transmit confidence and enthusiasm and develop autonomy in my students.
Greek and Latin are difficult languages, but faced with commitment and seriousness they can give a lot.

My lessons are modeled on the needs of the students and calibrated according to their previous knowledge and skills.
I believe in a critical and conscious study of ancient languages and I try to make my students as autonomous as possible.
Usually, the lesson begins with a short interview both to get to know each other and to agree on how to organize time together.
I want to create a serene atmosphere and to establish a sincere and stimulating exchange, always in mutual respect.

Conosco Giulia dal liceo classico, ormai da 10 anni; da allora ha sempre avuto enorme interesse verso il greco antico e il latino. Che dire di lei se non "esplosiva"? Un'esplosione di voglia di fare e conoscere, oltre che di imparare e condividere saperi. Io, come insegnante di scuola primaria attuale e futura, la consiglio a tutti e tutte, perché la didattica migliore poggia sempre su una totale passione per la disciplina e su una sospensione del giudizio sulla persona.
