About Belen
I’m a Chilean Interpreter, Translator, and Teacher for both English and Spanish. I have been teaching English and Spanish for almost a decade. I have taught English in multiple international companies, e.g., Toyota, Laureate International Universities, Goodyear and others.
I started teaching my neighbors when I was very young and after moving to Sidney, Australia, I decided to study and become a professional.
After getting my degree, I worked for the UN as an interpreter and for Amnesty International as a translator. However, I love teaching, love seeing my students develop skills, and learning how to communicate.

I can help you if you are just beginning or if you are already experienced. I love making classes fun, I know that sounds like a cliché, but you have to love it or it won't work! I use all types of material like audio, books, news, music to help you learn. I will also teach you grammar rules instead of telling you "Because it's the way it's supposed to be", so you can understand and learn the language as a native. I will teach you slang and all kinds of day-to-day usage of the language, not just "where's the library" haha. I love making my students feel comfortable and not afraid of saying something wrong. You have to make mistakes to get to where you want to!
