About Cory
Not only having been a tutor in high school students in geometry, biology, and Algebra II, I also have been a teaching assistant, recitation leader, and lab instructor at the City College of New York for college-level chemistry for several years. I find ways to make my lessons engaging, easy to understand, helpful to the student's needs and what they are learning, helping them better understand and overcome topics that were once challenging or confusing to them.

Having experience as a tutor for many years in high school and college as well as having been a teaching assistant at the City College of New York for several years, I find ways to help students understand concepts through analogies, explaining key complex concepts in simple terms so it is easier to understand and retain and providing countless personalized practice problems for students to apply and solidify the skills they learned.
