About Katie
I have tutored both professionally in tutoring institutions as well as tutoring friends and fellow classmates and peers. I have a full time career as an animal trainer, but i am looking to continue tutoring on the side. I hope to help students to not only achieve good grades, but also to prepare them for their professional lives outside of school.

One of my best skills is adaptability. It is easy for me to not only adapt my learning style, but also my teaching style to personalize every lesson to each individual student. I can help in everything from learning concepts, applications of concepts, test prep, and homework help. I am looking to tutor general and biological sciences, as well as elementary, pre-algebra, and algebra mathematics. In addition to a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from UC San Diego, I also have an Associate's degree in Natural Sciences in Mathematics from Irvine Valley College, and can use my transfer experience to help with university and transfer prep.
