About Chantal
Hi! I’m a Foundation teacher and PLC leader based in Melbourne, and I love helping students grow in confidence and enjoy their learning. I chose to become a tutor because I’ve seen how much of a difference personalized support can make—sometimes students just need things explained in a different way or a bit of extra time to really understand. I’m especially passionate about teaching reading, writing, and math, and I enjoy making learning feel clear, achievable, and even fun. My goal is to help you feel more confident, celebrate your progress, and realize that you are capable of success.

My approach to tutoring is all about helping students feel confident, supported, and capable in their learning. As a Foundation teacher and PLC leader, I have strong experience teaching reading, writing, and maths, including using a structured phonics approach. I break learning down into clear, simple steps so students can understand and experience success, and I tailor each session to suit their individual needs and pace. I create a positive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and trying their best. I also keep families informed so we can work together to support progress. My goal is not just to help students improve their skills, but to build their confidence and help them enjoy learning.
