About Brooke
I am a certified teacher and have worked with many different students which includes students with special attention requirements. I have all the time in the world to make sure that students are able to grasp the topic and explain it back to me. Growing up I have always struggled in my studies until I had a tutor who took her time and taught me the way I needed to be taught. I enjoy making the lessons fun but also make sure to gain knowledge on the topic. I have many teacher friends that I have graduated with that I enjoy comparing notes with and gaining different perspectives on how to teach different things.

I enjoy teaching students while also making the lessons fun and interesting. I try to integrate student interest with the topic being taught. I am a hands on learner myself which helps lead me to teaching in a hands on way. I am able to change my teaching style to help visual and auditory learners. I enjoy helping students thrive by teaching and challenging them to show full understanding. I do not mind going over lessons multiple times in order to gain full understanding. If I notice that the student is losing focus then I like to stop and have a short brain break where we can have a conversation or play a quick game to reboot our minds.
