I cleared IIT JEE with a good rank, scored 10 CGPA in class 10th and got 90% in class 12th. My secret? - a logical mind and consistency. If you forget formulae and have to revise steps/methods multiple times, you are not studying the right way. F=ma is the only thing you need to learn for 11th physics remaining everything can be derived by pure logic. You don't believe me? - come see the magic yourself!
