About Obasi
Mathematics is a subject, lots of students see as IMPOSSIBLE!!! I think, it’s simply misunderstood and a lot of students sometimes overthink a lot of things.
As a student tutor in High School, I assisted a lot of my teachers in marking examination scripts and assigning marks to each step of a solution depending on their difficulty. I often came across questions with just five lines of solution, but most students take up to 10 or 13 lines and still end up missing the answers.
Overthinking the answers to math questions most times does more harm than good and that is why I strive to teach my students simplicity in their solutions and the best way I do this is relating their questions to simple life activities or objects.

During my last year in high school, I took up teaching and tutoring my fellow classmates and juniors on Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics related topics. I noticed improvements in their assessment and when asked the reasons for this, I got this main answer.
“ You always found a way to relate the most complex topics with everyday life to life activities.”
This was simply the best method of reading and I was happy to indulge my students in this method as well.
Whenever you are stuck in a question, little things, like the table you are sitting out or the tree you see when you look out the window can help you remember your answers which is what I try to help my students achieve.
