About Fulya
Hi, I'm Fulya Çendik. I graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature. Thanks to the chapter I have read, I have gained a lot of information in the field of European history and international cultural interaction. During my early years at the university, I spent a month at a language school in Manchester, England. With the chapter I read, my goal was to gain experience in the countries where the language is spoken. Due to my language proficiency, I took pedagogical formation and got the title of Teaching English. During my studies, I have been in the United States twice to develop language and experience abroad. On my first visit as part of the Work and Travel program, I started as a cashier at Mcdonald's. Two years later, as an operator in an amusement park in the United States, I worked on high-speed trains. After returning to Turkey, while continuing my formal education; He also graduated from Tourism and Hotel Management Department, which I studied in open education. I gained functionality both in the AMADEUS program and in human relations. After my internship, in order to gain some more experience in the sales sector; I worked as a sales consultant in a grader shoe store for a short time. Before my university was finished, I attended a fifteen-day training program in Vilnius, Lithuania, as part of the Erasmus Plus Exchange Program. We have worked with students from many countries in the process of discussing some of the problems of society and finding solutions to them. Every year I go abroad to improve my knowledge and my relationships with people from other nationalities. I have one UK Student Visa, two American J1 Study Visa, one Lithuanian Student Exchange Program Visa, one Swiss Friends / Family Visit Tourist Visa, three Dutch Tourist Visas and one American Ten Year Tourist Visa. I started my teaching career at the Private Mersin Pusula Personal Development Course. After leaving this institution, I started teaching English at Private Mersin Basut Schools. I'm still going on.

I believe that the most important thing in language learning is experiential learning. When I was studying English, I started living in the countries where English was spoken abroad, started communicating with people with English native language, and with this method, I sought the logic of the language I learned and the ways of transferring this logic to people. Rather than stereotypical doctrines, seeing and using visual materials to process the course leaves more traces in people. During my internship period, when I told my students about a subject, I saw that it attracted more attention when I told them about this subject by giving examples from the countries where I live. Because an extraordinary experience experienced by the teacher arouses more curiosity in the learner and draws him to the subject. Especially when speaking, I prefer to explain the differences between English and American English based on my experiences in England and America. Language learning based on daily life is not always a better idea.
