I know what I'm doing when it comes to math! I majored in math (and computer science which uses math heavily) at a highly rated college, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. I promise I won't give up while you still need help.

I want to help you get better at math.
To do so, I'll visit you more than once.
In the first meeting, I'll have a 1 on 1 meeting with you where we mainly just talk about what math concepts confuse you.
I'll have a practice quiz with a variety of questions so that I can figure out what you're good at and what you need help with.
After you take that practice quiz, my teaching will be heavily interactive and focused on giving you help with the areas that you struggle with the most.
I'll try to explain what you don't understand in a simpler way so that you can get better at whatever area of math you struggle with.
After that, I'll head home and write a quiz with personalized questions and answers for the concepts you struggle with.
Then, next time I visit you, I'll bring that quiz and its answers with me.
While you take the personalized quiz, you can always ask me questions if you need tips.
Once you're done, I'll see what you learned and what you still need help with. We can step through the personalized answers.
I will run through the answers and explain why they're right, and I'll give you more details to help you understand how to solve the questions you had trouble with.
Remember, if you study math with me, I'll be on your side all the way.
