About Deirdre
I am currently going back to complete my master's program in secondary school teaching in the subjects French and English. I am very passionate about these two subjects and personally, I have enjoyed studying them. I find it very rewarding helping students and that's why I feel like teaching is the right career path for me to take. I am a very kind, caring, and patient person and that has to come with being a teacher. I have gained great experience in teaching and after my undergraduate degree, I took a year out to do substitute teaching in different secondary schools in Galway and I absolutely loved this and I am going to complete my master's now in September. I will be continuing to take lessons when I am back in college so I will be available throughout the year.

I am very passionate about English as a subject. During my undergraduate degree, I studied poetry and literature and I really enjoyed it! I am happy to help students in whatever aspect they are struggling with. Students who want to learn how to speak the language and want to start from the basics or maybe a student that is struggling in secondary school with poetry or plays and just needs an extra bit of help. That's what I am here for! So don't be afraid to reach out.
