About Abhay
Hello! I am a recent high school graduate who is a firm believer in the fact that with the correct attitude and plan, every individual can make advances. Once, I struggled and was almost at the bottom rung of my Math class, only to later progress to be ranked 7th for extension 2 math trials. I know the feeling of being challenged and, more so, the feeling of reward that accompanies progress. I aim to help learners understand concepts at a deeper, more personal level, rather than through just mindless, rote memorisation. Outside of tutoring, I play chess, work out at the gym, and follow the share market. All of these activities require a great deal of patience, concentration, and determination, qualities that I also incorporate into my lessons.

I have recent experience in the current syllabus, which equips me with experience on how to tackle and navigate the current educational meta for high school students. Typically I hold 1-2 hour online 1 on 1 lessons, with customisable lengths to suit your need. Employing a flexible approach to tutoring, I prefer interactive lessons, wherein your understanding is prioritised over rote learning. Problem-solving based lessons wherein weaknesses can be identified and then effectively improved. I am also available outside tutoring times to answer urgent questions.
