About Gemma
I graduated high school in 2022 and am currently studying a Bachelor of Construction Project Management at UTS. I have a bubbly and energetic personality, and have a passion for seeing my students gain confidence. Throughout school, I consistently played sports and loved to go out with my friends, so I understand that math tutoring isn't the most exciting for a lot of students. I focus on building a rapport with my students and breaking lessons up into different sections to keep them engaged.

Lessons will typically be 45 to 60 minutes depending on the student with lesson plans and paces catered to the student curriculum, ability, learning style, and confidence. Typically I will first explain a concept with consistent check-ins, do example questions together, and then have the student walk me through a couple of questions and their process to ensure understanding. My lessons are best catered to students from years 5 - 10.
