About Shaquon
I am a Civil Engineer that specializes in Water Resources (specifically Roadway and Bridge Drainage). During college, I had to master Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, and Calculus. There was no way to pass the more sophisticated engineering course unless there was a good gasp of basic maths. Also, I tutored my friends in college which helped me to understand the concepts better. In my engineering profession there is a lot of softwares and spreadsheets that run calculations to validate my design. However, it is still necessary to have a good understanding of maths because at times hand calculations may be required.
