About David
I am currently a licensed substitute teacher in my local district and have recent classroom experience in that regard. I am available at any time that meets the student's needs. My plan is to review and refresh my own knowledge on the particular lessons and concepts the student is struggling with. Then I would make a point of identifying any particular prerequisite concepts or skills the student may be struggling with. I hope to simultaneously help the student in their current math level and strengthen their base level knowledge for future math courses as well.

Though my degree is in art, I have a strong math background from high school and college. Classroom teachers cannot provide individual instruction, and they are on a schedule to move forward in the curriculum. This leaves many students behind, who never had a chance to become proficient in the fundamentals and earlier concepts of math.
