About Kevin
I have a Bachelor's degree in chemistry which was completed in 3 years' time as well as an Associate's degree in biology which was completed in conjunction with my high school diploma. I have spent the last 6 years learning advanced subjects as well as helping and guiding other students and peers through the exact same subjects. I have two years of experience in a chemistry research lab where all of the practices and principles learned were applied to real-world problems and scenarios leading to a deeper understanding and passion for the material. My references include past students who have all been tremendously helped by my teaching principles and many of whom have gained a deeper respect and understanding as well as passion for the material sometimes constituting the change of majors as well as the addition of minors in the respective fields.

I like to begin with a simple straightforward approach that makes learning the subjects fun and exciting. I begin with teaching a base level of understanding to create a strong foundation upon which the rest of the material will build upon. I use real-world examples and applications of the topics so that students may better relate to the topics at hand and so that they become more useful and important in the student's mind leading to increased engagement and a better outlook. My focus and dedication are driven by my love and passion for education and knowledge on these subjects and spreading that knowledge and love for the topics to better inspire and engage the student.
