About Phuong
As an immigrant myself, I once struggled to learn English and I understand the language can be difficult - especially for those who just came here. But I’m here to tell you that through hard work and persistence, anything is possible. I used to do 100 questions on grammar before truly understanding what it means to put the adjective before object and verb after.

I usually will assign helpful readings and writing prompts especially curated for students to pass their class. Lesson plan includes students showing me the key points in a text and I will summarize them. I also teach based on the student’s learning style so I will ask them to take a quiz to see what their learning style is and adjust accordingly. My classes are for the students who are struggling to digest information or couldn’t write a complete essay.
