About Joshua
Hello, I am a social science instructor at a continuation high school. This is officially my third year on the job. In addition to helping students with English coursework, I also serve as the school's Positive Behavior and Intervention System Coordinator. I work with any student regardless of their ability and not only get them to graduation but also spark their hunger for something more post high school.

- I like to see what a student can do and plan from there. I will evaluate the student's strengths and weaknesses and craft lesson plans to meet students where they're at. - My lesson plans involve review, finding new ways to challenge students, working on vocabulary, reading comprehension, essay crafting, and more. - As a student who struggled massively in high school but went on to earn a master's degree, I know what it's like to feel like there's no solution in the classroom. I work with students no matter their current level. -My lessons are aimed at elementary through high school, although I will gladly help college-level students. My primary focus is on the subjects of history and English.
