About Aaron
Hi, everyone! I'm Aaron. I like Chinese food, rollercoasters, baseball, and rain. I also love sharing the joy of music and creation with a new generation of students.
I've performed in, written, or composed music for over 50 shows in the Los Angeles area over the past 15 years.
I'm originally from a small town in Ohio, and came out to LA to attend the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts.
When I'm not teaching or writing, you can also see me talking to the famous Geico gecko in national TV commercials.

For Piano: Designed and taught my own curriculum using the Faber Method as a structural baseline but tailoring each lesson to the individual student’s needs, weaknesses, strengths, and interests. Prepared students for 3 recitals per year with an emphasis on sight-reading, style, and technique. Created a laid back, comfortable, fun atmosphere to help younger students dispel their nerves and focus on the joy of music.
For Voice: Program based on breath control, phrasing, diction, sight-reading, and learning how to act a song. Heavy Musical Theater influence, with emphasis on discovering your range, finding the perfect audition song, and creating your first “Audition Book”.
All ages and abilities welcome!
