About Viraj
I am a senior software engineer with a degree in computer and information sciences from Temple University. I have been writing code for 15 years and teaching for 10 years (started in high school). I continued teaching underprivileged students in Philadelphia while also tutoring math and computer science to high school students in my area. Computer Science, a very math-heavy subject, involves many application-based math problems. Using my background in STEM, I believe I will be a great tutor for Computer Science and Math courses at the high school and lower college levels.

I am an interactive tutor who uses analogies, examples, diagrams, and application-based learning methodologies. Throughout my high school career, I tutored students in AP Computer Science A, which kicked off my tutoring experience. I continued this throughout college, honing my abilities as an educator. I also tutored my peers at Temple University for their Computer Science coursework (a very math-heavy subject) and taught high school mathematics to underprivileged students in the Philadelphia area.
