About Hannah
I am originally from Aotearoa, New Zealand, and have tutored for over 10 years at middle and high school level and beyond. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Cognitive Science at Northwestern University where I worked as an academic tutor at Stateville Correctional Center, a men's maximum security prison. While at Northwestern I also was a Research Assistant, conducting research on Decision Making Psychology alongside Professor H. D. Smith. After working for a number of years, I attended the American Film Institute Conservatory, where I earned my Master of Fine Arts in Screenwriting. During this time I worked as a teaching assistant at the Conservatory.

I have over 10 years of tutoring experience, from tutoring middle school students to tutoring at a men's maximum security prison. I am able to meet students where they are at and find fun and engaging ways to understand the material. I welcome questions and like my tutoring sessions to be engaging and dynamic.
My goal with tutoring is to empower my students and for them to gain confidence in their knowledge and skills.
