About Shazeda H
I have been working as a tutor for nearly 6 years now. I began as a private tutor for young children with higher capabilities, and over time, I developed the skills required to successfully tutor high school, college and pre-med school students. I have also supervised and tutored students preparing for college entrance exams, such as the SATs and GRE, and also helped students write their college admission essays and personal statements. With the wide range of students I have worked with over the large span of time, I am the perfect candidate for all your requirements!

My goal is to explain concepts to students in a way that they can easily apply them. My motto is “Simplified learning for easy success!” I do not try to make students memorize concepts, but rather learn them in a way that they can answer questions no matter how they appear in the exam. Further, I always try to establish a comfortable relationship with my student so that they are not hesitant in asking questions or clarifying their doubts. Being a graduate student myself, I’m well aware of how daunting it may feel to ask a question for the fear of sounding “dumb”. I always try to make sure none of my students are afraid of asking questions, and I always encourage their inquisitiveness, because the only way to learn is to seek answers!

Shazeda was one of the best tutors I got. She is very considerate. She would help me with a question no matter how hard it got. She would sit through it with me. She was also consistent. She was never late even by a minute.
Shazeda was a amazing teacher. I went to many tutors and they couldn’t be as good as her. She helped me during my grade 12 exam in science and maths. If I did not understand a topic, she would find different ways to explain it. She dedicates her entire time to explaining how to do it. She wouldn’t let me go if I didn’t understand it properly. If classes are booked for longer hours, the hourly rate would be lower. For instance, the first hour would be charged at $11/hr but it would be $10/hr for the following hours. Moreover, group lessons will be charged lower: each student will be charged $10/hr for the first hour, and $9/hr for the following hours.
