About Macallan
I received my Bachelor's in English/Creative Writing from Webster University and am pursuing my MFA at the University of Missouri - St. Louis. My teaching approach is student-centered, focusing on the unique needs and learning styles of each individual. Whether it's mastering grammar, enhancing writing skills, or delving into the nuances of literature, I am dedicated to providing personalized and engaging lessons that foster confidence and academic growth. I have previous teaching/tutoring experience with elementary and middle school level learners.

As an English tutor, I believe in a personalized and student-centered approach. My teaching method focuses on understanding each student's unique learning style, strengths and areas for improvement. I like to incorporate multimedia resources, writing workshops and interactive lessons to keep students engaged.
My passion for reading and writing carries over into the classroom and gets my students ready and excited to learn.
