About Alden
I received my bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in 2023, and I am currently working towards my master's degree in the same subject area. With the work towards this degree came a deeper understanding of language and English as a whole. Additionally, I learned how to work and collaborate with different individuals one-on-one. I am dedicated to the tasks that I take on, and I am passionate about helping others accomplish their goals.

As a graduate student myself, I now have over 16 years of experience with different levels of English and feel extremely qualified to help others learn important and necessary skills for stages of education ranging from kindergarten to high school senior. I like to take a visual approach to learning with lots of repetition and practice. I am very open to trying different teaching styles and finding an approach that benefits each individual. Whether it be learning elementary level English, practicing for English and reading skills for standardized tests like the ACT, or writing and/or editing upper level papers, I can adapt myself to be the best teacher for you. I believe that learning is a team effort and collaboration is extremely important in finding success.
