About Matthew
As a graduate in physics, I understand mathematics in its related fields deeply, from the purely conceptual level, to the realm of real world applications. I have a wealth of experience solving math and physics problems and doing statistics. As a former mathematics tutor at a community college I worked with students from various different walks of life and with different goals and have lots experience communicating difficult concepts in new and relevant ways to ensure the personalized needs of the student can be met.

My goal as a tutor is to inspire confidence in my students. I am not simply here to teach, I am here to show them what they already know. When I work with, I discuss concepts of mathematics, statistics, and physics, as well as where these concepts apply in the real world. From the there I can create problems for them to practice their skills and gain mastery of the subject. As a tutor I emphasize communication with students, so that I can assist students at all levels and from all backgrounds in finding success.
