About Philip
I personally have read all of Charles Dickens's novels, many of them more than once. I would ask that you choose one of these novels to read on your own and then we can discuss the novel. I will read the book again myself along with you in my own time.
Important to remember with these books is the characterization that Dickens employed. I have found that grasping these works provides a wonderful background in the development of proper English usage. I would regard it as a kind of secret weapon that too few English learners employ.
