About Marios
Hi
My name is Marios and i am originally from Cyprus! I am a recent post- graduate from university of Edinburgh where i studied business analytics and have a BSC degree in mathematics and statistics from the university of Nottingham where in my final year i was chosen to assist first year students into difficult and unseen mathematical problems to help them with their exams. That was my first contact related to tutoring and the reason i have chosen to apply for such roles as i am thrilled to help other students reach their full potential and goals after a lot of hard working!!
My teaching style is based on making sure that the student first understands the theory behind each chapter and the reason behind every question that is asked. Then diving into simple problems and gradually making it more complex to test the student's understanding. Re - solving all exercises from class, having question and answers session and preparing for tests
